You will need :
the zip file (brushes and fonts) here
a tube of your choice
golden or a silver tile (matching with your tube’s colours)
plugins Bordermania – FM TileTools – Filters Unlimited 2.0
put the brushes in your brushes folder
put the plugings in your plugins folder
Let's get started…
- Select 3 colours to match with your tube : I used #072d24 (dark) #4c7169 (medium dark) #91b5ae (light)
- Open your tube and duplicate it. Close the original. We will be working with the copy.
- Open a new image 500x500 px – transparent. Flood fill with your dark colour. Here I used # 072d24
- Add a new raster layer
- In your Material Properties palette prepare a gradient with your colours light and medium dark
_ linear - angle 90° - repeats 0
- With the PaintBrush tool apply the brush « Yuna_coucher_de_soleil » - size 500.
- With the Pick Tool move and reshape the brush layer until it covers all the image area. Do
not hesitate to pull it OUT of the layer’s borders of your working space, as shown below.

- Set the foreground with your light colour and the background with your medium dark.
- With your PaintBrush tool apply the brush « cdsign_brush019 » with the following settings.
Carefully center your brush in your working image
- In the layers palette : opacity 81%
- Effects => 3D Effects => Drop Shadow : 3 / 3 / 100 / 3 - black
- Stay on the brush « cdsigns_brush019 » layer. With the magic wand select all the external squares. settings below.
- Add a new raster layer.
- With the gradient in the foreground flood fill the selected squares. You should get this :
- Select none. Add a new layer
- Swap the gradient from foreground to background and the light colour from background to
foreground.
- With the PaintBrush tool apply the brush « a-dozi’s-oldtext-10-Brush001 » size
255 in the upper left corner of the tag.
- In the layers palette drag and move the layer down between the layer background and the brush «
coucher_de_soleil » layer
- Duplicate. Image => mirror. Now your layers are displayed like this :
- Right click on your tube => copy and paste as new layer on your working image.
- Resize it to 80% (resize all layers not ticked off)
- Effects => 3D effects => Drop Shadow : 1 / 1 / 81 / 5 black
- Merge visible layers.
- Effects => plugins => Bordermania : frame #2 with these settings
- Image => add borders : 2 px – flood fill with your golden or silver tile
- Image => add borders : 1 px black
- Add a new raster layer
- With the selections tool => custom selection create a selection using these settings
- Flood fill the selection with your light colour.
- In your layers palette : opacity 28 % and blendmode => luminance (legacy)
- Effects => plugins => Filters Unlimited 2.0 => Edges Square : square edge 01
- Select none
- Effects => 3D Effects => Drop Shadow : -3 / -3 / 100 / 3 - black
- Add a new raster layer
- Set foreground with your dark colour and background with your golden or silver tile.
- Text tool : write the name you want for your tag with the following settings
- Select none.
- Add a drop shadow – same settings as step 14. Blendmode : overlay.
- Add a new raster layer.
- With the text tool put your name on the left side of the tag with the following settings :
direction vertical and left.
- Add a drop shadow – same settings as step 14.
- Select none
- Layers palette : merge all
- Effects => illumination effects => sunburst with your light colour
- You can add your website url on lower right side of the tag. Add a new raster layer.
Background colour : black (transparent foreground) – font size 6 or 8. Image => free
rotate 90° right (« all layers » not ticked off).
- Merge all layers
- Effects => plugins => FM TileTools => blend emboss (default settings).
